Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Chef in Northumberland, on a temporary ongoing basis covering long-term sickness and holidays.What's on offer?Monday to Friday, 9am until 2pm£12.50 to £15.00 per hour - depending on experienceWeekly pay, directly into your bank accountWorking as a Chef, your duties and responsibilitiesCreate menus, prepare and cook food - noting any special dietary needsSource, place and manage orders for necessary food ingredients and kitchen cleaning consumablesCheck and record all food and kitchen consumables deliveries, quantities of ingredients used and the number of meals produced and servedEnsure the cleanliness of the kitchen, its equipment and surrounding areasEnsure the Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all timesReport faults in equipment and request necessary day to day maintenance of premisesCarry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the jobTo be successful within this role you will have a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate, and a Food allergens certificate. Combined with the following traits:Excellent communication skillsAble to work well as part of a team and individuallyHighly motivated - Sets and achieves challenging goalsQuality management - the ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality.Do you meet the above requirements?
