Cloud Engineer in Nottingham

Position: Cloud Engineer

Salary: £45,000-£60,000

Location: Nottingham (1 day per week in the office)

Designing cloud solutions based on Azure services in line with business requirements.

Requirements (nice to have):

• Azure Cloud Services, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Automation
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Cloud Infrastructure Design, Cloud-based Application Development
• Software Development / Deployment pipelines
• Development and DevOps processes
• Terraform/Bicep
• Knowledge of containerization
• Creating CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage accounts, and virtual machines
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and services, automate cloud-based deployments using Azure DevOps
• Implement cost-effective cloud-based solutions including designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Monitor and optimise cloud-based resources for performance and cost
