My client is looking for CNC Turner to join on them on a Permanent basis. As a CNC Turner you will be responsible for the Manufacture of aircraft bushes to precision limits in accordance with company procedures/ OHM/ CMM/ SOPM.Role: CNC Turner - Permanent Position Pay: From £31,400 plus shift allowance PAYELocation: West LondonHours: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday (depending on business needs) 06.30 - 14.30 and 14.25 - 22.25Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK without restrictionsBenefits:Free onsite parkingCompetitive Salary PackageDiscretionary Bonus SchemeDiscounted Flight BenefitsReduced Gym Memberships. Retail and Hotel DiscountsSeasonal Company EventsJob ProfileWorking on two and three axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.Experience of CNC programming preferable on Fanuc controls.To be able to read and understand technical drawings.To be able to work with imperial measuring equipment.Manufacturing bushes, sleeves and nuts for Aircraft components e.g.:- Landing gears, flap and track systems.Also reworking and overhauling components for the airline industry.An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company's environmental procedures.You will be required to maintain Practical Experience Record (PER) book.You may be required to train personnel with a specified area subject to your qualifications and experience.All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company ProceduresSkills/Experience RequiredAerospace background not essential but would be preferred.Experience in two and three axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.Experience of CNC programming.Team player with proven ability to manage, lead and guidance.Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.Excellent communications skills and able to work within a matrix environment.Good organisational skills with strong planning and operational execution.Excellent planning, problem solving organization and administration skills.Able to turn vision into strategy and execute.Decision maker, analysing for root causes rather than presenting the problem.Self-motivated with flexible approach.Able to deliver profitable growth through excellent commercial skills and deliver sustainable change.Engage others and develop their potential with confident decision-making skillsThe position requires from time to time flexibility in working hours including working overtime at weekends.The job requires the applicant to understand manual handling.The position involves the use of complex machinery.The ability to keep your working area clean and tidy and to a 5s standardPhysical Requirements:The job requires the applicant to stand for a prolonged amount of time with a number of breaks throughout the day.The position and process involves lifting heavy aircraft components.Education & TrainingEssential - Strong experience in a similar roleEducated to at least GCSE level or equivalent Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken EnglishIf you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please send your updated CV to: Sarah Budd at Line Up AviationLine Up Aviation has carved its own place in the recruitment of Aviation and Aerospace personnel all over the world for more than 30 years.
