Commercial Director Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 4 in a mixture of high-end residential and educational projects
  • Apply compliant processes & procedures
  • Developing accurate project bids with the help of other departments
  • Agreeing to timescales, costs and resources for a project
  • Creating plans for each stage of a project
  • Negotiating with suppliers and contractors
  • Constantly monitoring progress, quality and costs
  • Reporting regularly to executives about project progress

    • Commercial Director Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or related fields
  • Experience leading commercial teams with proven track record of success
  • Experience securing framework agreements with clients
  • Experience working on high-end construction projects
  • Strong commercial acumen and organisational skills
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen
