Commercial Lawyer in UK

Our customer, a telecommunications company is looking for a Senior Commercial lawyer for a 3 months contract role.

The Role: 3-month temporary resource cover for Commercial legal team

Location: UK

Hours: Full time

Start date: Mid-June

The main parts the role: Senior Commercial Lawyer for coverage while members of team on study leave

You will provide commercial legal support and advice, primarily for Commercial team that covers customer facing units including Banking & Financial Services, Manufacturing, Industries, Business Services & Government, in addition to indirect channels & partners business.

Be consistent and keep up to date, you’ll:

• Consistency: Use the standard systems, processes, guidance and templates available in each practice area.
• Horizon scan and keep your legal knowledge up to date; ensure colleagues are kept up to date.

People Management, you’ll:

• Need to be able to work independently and lead, support and collaborate colleagues and stakeholders as part of a wider business team (including procurement, programme managers and briefing to leadership)
• Coach, develop and supervise other people who do work for you.
• Support Senior Lawyers and Legal Director deliver consistent performance management.

Skills and Experience Needed:

• Qualified solicitor with current practicing certificate in England + Wales.
• Experienced commercial deals lawyer.
