SSQ is working on behalf of an Elite US Private Practice who is looking to hire multiple Antitrust & Competition Paralegals. They work as a collegiate team across London and Brussels, and are happy for people to be based in either one of these locations. Details of the role include:
- A full service Antitrust practice with a focus on transactional work .
- Integrated team of 40+ fee earners across London & Brussels. They also have close relationships with their US team.
- 30% of European AT time relates to strategic M&A.
- 70% is PE related but a large number end up in complex situations, i.e. bidding, acquisitions, etc.
- This is an entrepreneurial team; their M&A practice is larger, so they are therefore looking to grow substantially - particularly at the junior end.
- They are focused on the future, and are happy to sign off on the SQE for top-quality Paralegal's to eventually become NQ's at the practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working on non-contentious Competition Matters at a US/Top City practice.
- Completed the LLM.
- A keen interest in non-contentious antitrust & competition matters.
- Preferably european language skills (not essential).
- Prefereably legal experience within a EU member state (not essential).
