This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist to gain invaluable experience in the sector, and become part of a team where your professional development matters.The Consultant Ecologist position offers:Company van with fuel cardProgression OpportunitiesContinuous professional developmentCompetitive Pension SchemeParking on-siteAs a Consultant Ecologist, your duties will be to:Provide support and in-depth guidance in many aspects of ecological conservation.Advise on habitat management and current wildlife legislation, as required.Produce technical reports in a timely manner and to a high standard.Undertake ecological surveying and logistics planning at a variety of sites, as required.Undertake Preliminary Ecological Assessments (PEAs), Ecological Impact Assessments (ECiAs) and Habitat Regulations Assessments (HRAs).Lead on protected species surveys and reports, depending on experience and/or survey licenses.Lead on ecological data collation, analysis, monitoring and reporting.To be considered for the Consultant Ecologist position you will need:Degree in a relevant subjectEcological consultancy experienceOne or more protected species licences, or be working towards themHold membership with CIEEMInterested in this or other roles in ecology consultancy?
