Location : Warrington office, Site based covering sites around Greater Manchester- Typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours
As a Contracts Manager for Novus, you will get to see the impact and improvements your role delivers to your customers and team every day – taking your job satisfaction to whole new levels. With responsibility for successfully leading a small team of Site Managers delivering Voids and planned refurbishment works to Social Housing properties. Ensuring contracts are completed to programme, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to Health & Safety of their operation team, the client, or the public. The successful candidate will be client facing and have extensive knowledge of Refurbishments within a Tenanted Social Housing environment.
Along with utilising your Contracts Management skills, you’ll also be looking for ways to add real social value to the communities and customers you work with. Supported by your peers, team, and management to solve problems and trusted to make decisions to grow and develop relationships and revenue. You will be managing multiple contracts and site locations, typically your week will be varied ranging from site visits and office based to support the administration that goes with running a number of successful contracts. The programs of works will spread across a number of our clients meaning you may have teams supporting works across Lancashire, therefore you must be comfortable with regional travel to those locations.

About You
As an experienced Contracts Manager you will have the experience of working on Social Housing planned works contracts including Kitchen and Bathroom refits, remodeling and repaint works. Ideally you will hold SMSTS, but if this has expired, we will support you to renew, it’s the knowledge and skills that goes with the qualification that’s essential to us. Our preferred candidate will be experienced, knowledgeable, be a self starter who is focused on delivery and able to communicate well with the team to ensure everyday runs smoothly. You will need to hold a Full UK driving licence to travel to Sites daily.
