About the Role:

Specify, design and test solutions based on customer requirements.
Validate software designs through analysis and testing.
Produce technical documentation in accordance with company/customer procedures.

About You:

Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related discipline.
Design and integration of large-scale PLC or SCADA Control Systems
Experience of Fault Tolerant, High Availability and Safety Integrated PLC or SCADA Solutions.
Understanding of design formats such as Block Diagrams, Flow Charts and Pseudo Code.
Experience with industrial communication protocols and networking standards.

Salary: £53,000–£76,000 Plus Bonus & Benefits
Location: New Malden, Greater London Area
Hybrid working: 2-3 days a week on-site and occasional travel to client site(s)

Skills:

Control systems engineering, PLC, SCADA, design, programming, product lifecycle, WinCC, Siemens, RedHat Linux, safety-critical, communication protocols, networking standards.

You will be successful in this role if you are an experienced control systems/software engineer specialising in PLC control systems and are looking for an opportunity to further your skillset by working on a range of challenging engineering problems.

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
