Cover Supervisor
Location: SheffieldSalary: Up to £115 per dayContract: Full Time, Long Term (Starting September)
About the Role:GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for a full-time, long-term position in Sheffield starting in September. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience and support the learning of students across various subjects.
Job Summary:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with their learning.
- Implement lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Provide support and assistance to students in their educational activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
- Engage students in their learning and provide help where needed.
- Support the school staff in various administrative and organisational tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Note:Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
