Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Customer Service Specialist within the Wide Body department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.This Customer Service Specialist position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The successful candidate supports operational fulfilment of the business and provides outstanding customer service to our external customers and represents the voice of the customers internally. The candidate will be the first point of contact for operational topics towards the customer and supports regular customer reviews and visits.Role Responsibilities will include:Communication & Relationship management - internally and externally. Being the primary point of contact for all customers. Managing the Customer Support email inbox. Prepare and send customer status reports weekly. Attend and participate in Production and Operation meetings and provide customer requirements during these meetings. Manage difficult situations and find solutions to issues and problems without supervision.Business Project Administration & Logistics Coordination - Open and close sales orders of Business Projects. Enter all new customer orders into the company's ERP and tracking system. Managing day to day administration of customer orders and Business Projects both internally and externally. Create delivery notes.Commercials & Profitability - Own and manage quotation logs. Liaising with the Finance Department to provide job costings in a timely manner. Review invoices for each Business Project, ensuring maximum revenue and profitability. Manage past due invoices.Continuous Improvement & Other duties - record frequently escalated topics and analyse areas of improvement. Perform other duties as business requires.Skills and Experience required:Must have strong written and oral communication skills.Have the ability to read and understand customer contracts / specification and put in.Place action plans for contract adherence.Good IT skills with the use of standard Microsoft packages. Proven experience of using MRP / ERP.Data systems (SAP / AMOS etc.).Experience in Aerospace is desirable.Previous experience in Customer Service.Why Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services?
