Hours: Monday to Friday, 9-5


Duration: 6 months, oppportunity to be kept permanently



In this role, you will be at the forefront of our client's customer proposition, providing a trusted service to customers in the financial services industry. As the position involves dealing with vulnerable people, the ability to show empathy is crucial.


Essential Criteria:



  • Previous exposure to the financial services industry, such as banking, complaints handling, pensions, or similar investment-related markets.

  • Experience using various communication channels (voice, webchat, email) to interact with customers in a professional manner, contributing to excellent customer experiences.

  • Customer-focused with the ability to quickly build rapport and provide exceptional etiquette while speaking to customers.

  • Passionate and enthusiastic about solving customer queries and willing to go above and beyond.

  • Exceptional attention to detail in written and verbal communication.

  • Proven experience in taking ownership of queries and resolving them.

  • Previous experience working with vulnerable customers is required.


  • Desirable Criteria:



  • Strong relationship-building skills across stakeholders and teams.

  • Excellent organisational skills to manage shifting priorities in an ambiguous and changing environment.

  • Empathy and understanding towards customers' situations.

  • Advantageous to possess a financial service qualification.

  • Team player.

  • RO1 certification is advantageous, but training will be provided.
