Position Overview:

As a Design Engineer at MasterMover, you will be at the forefront of delivering customised material handling solutions to meet unique client requirements.

You will collaborate closely with our customers to understand their specific needs and translate them into innovative designs that push the boundaries of what's possible.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, driving the development of groundbreaking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Collaboration: Engage with clients to gather detailed specifications and requirements for bespoke material handling solutions. Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are fully understood and met.
2. Bespoke Design: Lead the design process for custom-engineered solutions, utilising your expertise in mechanical engineering to create innovative and efficient designs. Develop prototypes and iterate based on customer feedback.
3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise in the development of bespoke solutions, ensuring that designs align with industry standards, safety regulations, and MasterMover's high-quality standards.
4. Project Management: Manage bespoke engineering projects from concept to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions.
5. Documentation: Create comprehensive engineering documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and project reports. Maintain accurate records of design iterations and project milestones.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in the field of material handling equipment or a related industry.
3. Expertise in 3D CAD software and proficiency in simulation tools.
4. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.
6. Creative problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to think outside the box in custom engineering scenarios.
7. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
