Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Director of Sport to work in a Secondary school near Bury St Edmunds, Starting in September 2024.

This position will be offered a Permanent Basis.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location – Bury St Edmunds

Position – Director of Sport

Contract/ Start Date – September 2024

Duration/ Duration – Permanent

Full Time/ Part Time – Full time

Minimum rate of pay – Paid to Scale (We negotiate on behalf of you – moving you up the pay ladder, higher band/ more pay on your TLR bonus, sign on bonuses for every year you stay)

Hours – 5 days a week: to 3:30pm (PPA time is included)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject

GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’ or above

Qualified Teacher Status

PGCE and QTS in Secondary Education

Have experience directing Sport before

Offer unique coaching, maintain the high achieving teams.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK.

Hold an Enhanced Child Barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service – or be willing to process a new application.

Provide two professional child related references
