Dispatch Operative in Loanhead

Macsween of Edinburgh are a family run business and have been since 1953.

The primary function of the factory is to produce quality food in a safe manner, in line with regulations.

We mainly produce haggis (including vegetarian and gluten free), black pudding and white pudding.

We work Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend overtime available) shift for this position is 07:00-16:00.

JOB PURPOSE:The Dispatch Operative is responsible for working on the packing lines, traceability documentation and verification of correct information.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:Job duties and responsibilities: * Pack finished product from each of the Production Lines * To assist in the production of each batch of product (under the direction of the Team Leader / Production Supervisor.

) * To assist in all due diligence procedures, such as checking Codes / Product seals / and Product condition * To assist in the cleaning of the factory area daily.

* Quality control.

* To report immediately any faults in the production process, machinery or associated production equipment * At other times you may be required to help in other departments as required * Wear Company PPE at all timesEssential: * Experience within a food production line * Excellent Attention to detail * Good time management * Ability to work under pressure * Clean full UK driving LicenceDesirable: * Experience in FMCG industryOnce our employees have completed their probation period and are permanent members of staff, those who wish to develop, can!
