Electrical Craftsperson – Saffron Walden
Circa £36,000 per annum plus company vehicle
Outsource UK’s client are a global Oil & Gas logistics firm who looking for an electrical craftsperson to join their maintenance team in Saffron Walden.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside the operations team on site to ensure the day to day electrical maintenance and testing on the Pipeline System to ensure it is working safely. In addition, you will carry out regular maintenance of LV distribution small power and lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing and Electrical periodic inspection and testing to BS 7671 and BS 60079 including Hazardous area electrical inspection and testing work in accordance with procedure.
While the role is mainly Monday to Friday 08.00 – 16.00 due to the nature of our business you will be needed for overtime when required for out of hours break downs and emergencies.
Skills required
In order to join thr team, you will need to possess 5 C (or equivalent) GCSE’s along with the ability to understand the reasons for and applications of a variety of safety management processes such as Permit to Work, Safety Critical Tasks and Risk Assessments.
In order to succeed in the role, you will need to be BS7671 qualified.
