ELECTRICAL ESTIMATORDue to continued strategic business growth this established electrical contracting and wholesale business is looking for an ambitious Electrical Estimator to join their existing team covering the Midlands region.This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and motivated team providing a “best in class” service to the UK’s leading manufacturers, education sector and many other sectors to support them with their ongoing electrical requirements and carbon net zero strategies.Reporting to the Head of Commercial for The Midlands, you will work as part of a regional commercial team to carry out electrical estimating, customer service management and signing off certification working to NICEIC standards for our electrical contracting division.Continual professional development serves as the compass guiding your career journey and this company thrive on innovation, investing in people and their talent to drive the business forward.This company adopts a hybrid way of working which assumes that where roles allow, office-based colleagues divide their time between working in the office, on customer sites and working from home, as the role dictates.In return you will receive an attractive salary of £35-45K + Car + uncapped Bonus Scheme + Annual Health Assessment + 20 days’ holiday (increase by 1 day for every 3 years’ continuous service up to 25 days) + Choice of Flexible BenefitsTHE COMPANYThis company has been in business over 32 years and has established a reputation as a high quality, serviced led industrial electrical contractor and electrical wholesaler.THE OPPORTUNITYThis is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join this company and take ownership of this exciting role.Key Responsibilities: * Preparing electrical estimates against a wide and varied range of industrial & Commercial work scope in line with agreed company pricing strategy. * Manage time effectively when working on multiple estimates simultaneously to ensure timely submission of quotations to meet agreed deadlines. * Communicate with both customers & management regarding quote development progress demonstrating excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Good knowledge of all MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. * Assist in maintaining the NICEIC accreditation for the business.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThis company is a true service provider, so the successful candidate must be relationship driven with a natural problem-solving ability.Qualifications & Skills:To be successful in the role, we are looking for the following qualifications and work behaviours: * 18th Edition * 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing * AM2 & NVQ Level 3 * JIB/ECS Gold Card * Experience in estimating for electrical projects. * Experience in industrial and commercial electrical work. * Experience in inspection and testing. * Experience in certification. * Full UK driving licence * An understanding or passion to learn about business. * Ability to work well within a team. * Able to maintain a commercial focus. * Communication skills including report writing, presenting and ability to build relationships. * Self-motivated and self-disciplined – able to work unsupervised. * An ambition to earn commission and thrive at hitting targets.This company believes in celebrating and rewarding exceptional performance through a multifaceted approach that recognises both individual and collective achievement.
