Apply NowEquans is looking for 2x Electricians to join our team in Leiston, Suffolk on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week on our EDF contract. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Skilled operative to carry out PPM / reactive tasks and LV electrical installations.
Must have a good working knowledge of electrical installs, electrical repairs and fault finding.
Must have a flexible can do approach, be able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
Impact:
Able to prioritise tasks from PPMs and Helpdesk Requests, reacting to breakdowns and changing priorities.
Safe system and work control system closeout
Ability to stay calm during major incidents and relay accurate information to the Electrical supervisor.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask
Complexity:
Understanding the operational requirements of Sizewell B Power Station.
Able to prioritize works, managing a large workload, working as a team and while achieving financial performance targets.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
Completed recognised qualification/apprenticeship
City & Guilds qualifications in electrical installation and inspect and test - Desirable
18th Edition qualification
Experience in working in a large team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
ATEX qualification would be advantageous
