Job title: Embedded Software Engineer (Real-Time)

Akkodis are seeking a skilled and ambitious Embedded Software Engineer with proven experience in developing real-time software solutions for defence/space applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background with C/C++ programming language with an understanding of real-time embedded systems.

About the role:

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing mission-critical software solutions for defence and space. Your expertise in C programming will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and optimization of real-time embedded software to meet the requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

• Utilize proficiency in C programming to develop high-performance, real-time embedded software for defence and space applications.
• Collaborate closely with teams to integrate software with hardware components and systems.
• Implement efficient algorithms and optimizations to meet stringent real-time performance requirements.
• Ensure software systems adhere to stringent safety and security standards for defence and space applications.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, including software requirements, design specifications, and test plans.

About you:

• Proven experience within embedded software development for defence, aerospace, or space industries.
• Strong proficiency within C and C++ programming.
• Real-time embedded software development required.
