With a mission to enable growth, create jobs and improve lives.As one of the largest providers of skills and training in the UK, we are dedicated to supporting businesses and individuals with apprenticeships, higher education and commercial training.We help people to develop their skills across a diverse range of sectors and levels, with our Ofsted Grade 2: Good provider status, and work with leading businesses to ensure our curriculum boosts the career prospects of individuals and productivity of businesses.Main PurposeOur client are looking for an Employability Tutor who will develop, promote, deliver, and assess training to maximise learning outcomes for learners.Benefits include further training opportunities along with agile working hours.Responsibilities * Deliver classroom based / accredited qualification entry 3 and level 1 to unemployed adults (learners) of up to 12-15 people * Carry out initial and on-going assessment to ensure students are on the right programme and receiving the right level of support * Where appropriate, prepare learners to successfully undertake assignments or sit tests/exams to maintain high success rates * Mark/assess students’ work, provide structured feedback and set development objectives for learners * Plan & design appropriate training programmes (including development of schemes of work, lesson plans, Apprenticeship Learning Plans etc), taking account of individual requirements to ensure differentiation of learning * Where appropriate, prepare students to successfully undertake assignments or sit tests/exams in order to maintain high success rates * Monitor and track students’ progress, including through reviews to ensure high achievement ratesAbout You: * Motivating and inspiring * Supportive and flexible approach * Excellent communication skills * Ability to plan and organise workload effectively * IT skills including the ability to use technologySkills Required: * Must hold teaching qualification – At least PTLLS Level 3 (Essential) * IAG Level / Qualification or willingness to undertake training (Preferable) * Full UK Drivers Licence or able to travel across Greater Manchester * Experience of working in employability is an advantage
