Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher ready to inspire students with the wonders of literature and language?

We are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team!

Responsibilities:As an English Teacher you will play a crucial role in nurturing students literacy skills, creativity and critical thinking abilities.

Your responsibilities will include:Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive English lessons that encompass literature, language and writing skills, catering to the diverse needs and interest of students.

Language Development: Develop students’ language skills through engaging activities, discussions, and writing tasks, helping them to express themselves effectively and confidently.

Literacy Exploration: Introduce students to a wide range of literary genres, texts, and authors, igniting a love for reading and an appreciation for the power of storytelling and language.

Writing proficiency: Support students in developing their writing skills across various genres and formats, providing feedback and guidance to help them refine their skills and express their ideas.

Assessment and feedback: Assess student progress through a variety of assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their growth and development.

Requirements:To be successful in this role you will need: * An Enhanced DBS Check (or be willing to complete one) * QTS or other relevant education qualifications * Experience teaching English within a school setting.

Additional Details: * Start: September 2024 * Hours: This is a full time position * Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 M6 teaching scale, measured on qualifications and experience.
