* Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.

* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment, and behaviour of one’s students.

* Provide appropriate feedback on work and to foster student growth.

* Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.

* Update all necessary records accurately as required and in a timely manner.

* Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.

* Be proactive in the school community, contributing to the development of the school's curriculum and overall environment.

Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* A degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related field.

* Proven UK experience in teaching English at secondary school level, including preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

* Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to create a motivating and safe learning environment.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills.

* A commitment to continuous professional development.
