Role Overview: As an English teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring a love for literature and language in students from Key Stages 3 to 5.

You will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons, encourage critical thinking and creativity, and support students in achieving their full potential in English language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver inspiring English lessons that captivate and motivate students, covering a range of literary genres, language skills, and examination techniques.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to express themselves, explore diverse perspectives, and develop their own voices as writers and thinkers.

Assess student progress regularly through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and guidance to support their academic growth.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.

Engage with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to communicate student progress and ensure a collaborative approach to supporting student achievement.

Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in English language and literature.

Proven experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 to 5, with a track record of delivering outstanding outcomes for students.

Passion for English education and a deep appreciation for the power of literature to inspire, inform, and transform lives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.

Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo relevant background checks.
