Estimator in Exeter

EstimatorExeterWe are looking to chat with experienced construction Estimators looking for a new challenge in the Exeter.Working closely with the commercial team, you will take responsibility for pricing tender packages, following the process from initial receipt through to award. Suitable candidates will have sound knowledge of Design & Build contracts, open and negotiated tenders, along with framework tendering. Projects will be commercial, industrial, education and retail, values range from £500k to £20mKey experience and knowledge will include: * Reading and reviewing drawings * Take-offs from designs * Producing Bills of Quantity * Liaising with subcontractors, price enquiries * Producing tender packs * Reviewing and scoring subcontractor tender returns * Working with SMT to review and collate tender information * Production of tender documentation * Calculating, labour, equipment and material costs * Liaising with all the construction team on progress and viabilityKey Skills: * Previous estimating experience of similar project types and values * Good local supply chain knowledge would be advantageous * Proficient in the use of MS365 and other estimating Software packages * Strong analytical skills * The ability to work to tight deadlines.Offering a salary Circ. £75,000 with a generous car allowance and package.For an informal discussion please call Jo on (phone number removed) or click the inviting red button in the upper right-hand corner to apply and embark on this journey with us!Sphere Solutions are a market leader in the South West & Wales construction recruitment sector.
