We are looking for Family Support Workers to join our team and work at a Family Assessment Centre in Coventry providing support and assessment to parents and their children.As a Family Support Worker you will work as part of a team of support workers to deliver a high standard of care at all times within a 'home from home' nurturing environment. You will support families to develop their parenting capacity and support parents on a day to day basis to provide care for their children. You recognise that the role is to help support residents maximise their choices, rights and decisions.The successful candidate must have;- Experience working as a family support worker in a residential setting or within their own home- Good written and verbal communication skills- Empathetic people person who is non-judgemental and calm- Dedicated and committed with a “can-do” attitude- Level 3 in Residential Childcare/Children & Young People Workforce/ Residential Childcare - desired not essentialIf you meet the above specification then please get in touch ASAP, the successful applicant will be rewarded with:- Excellent rates of pay and additional supplements- Ongoing career progression & training offeredThe successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.SCR social care is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of vulnerable adults/children as a priority.
