Field Service Generator Engineer in London

Our client who focuses on construction and industrial equipment are currently looking for a Field Service Generator Engineer, based in the Home Counties.

This position is field based, to provide onsite support to a range of generator machinery.

The focus of this role is keeping the machinery in optimal operating condition through maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

This position is field based; however, you will also be required to work in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:Mechanical and electrical fault findingServicing and repairing generators and associated equipmentInvestigate, diagnose and resolve reports of technical problemsService all equipment on and off site – in the workshop and on the fieldWorking independently to troubleshoot issuesComplete all paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant proceduresComply to all Health and Safety proceduresDevelop long-lasting relationships with clients and customersEssential Key Skills:Strong mechanical knowledge/aptitudeA minimum of 5 years’ experience in generatorsKnowledge and understanding of engines, control panels, wiring diagrams, and alternatorsDiagnostic skillsThe ability to work independently and/or within a teamCommercial awareness, with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers/clientsFlexibility and efficiencyDesirable Skills:The ability to service heavy plant machinesIf this role sounds like you, and you have all the relevant skills, please don’t hesitate to click ‘Apply’ now!
