Finance Analyst in London

Our software, CAM Assist, brings one-click automation to CNC machining. Our world-class team, with tier 1 financial backers including Atomico, Autodesk and Lockheed Martin, combines expertise in computer science and physical manufacturing, from our locations in London and Chelmsford.We are scaling from Series B to C at pace and are fully funded for this growth. Role Purpose: The Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in Financial Reporting and Performance Analysis. The role will be an even split between Month-End Financial Reporting and Business Partnering the Manufacturing and Software leads.In this role, you will empower Function Leads to make data driven decisions and drive progress in their KPIs resulting in the business driving forward in a single direction, as well as ensuring each function takes accountability for their performance against budget. The team and stakeholders: Team: You will be working with an agile Finance function reporting to the Commercial Business Partner, supported by our Finance Manager and Junior Management Accountant. Key Stakeholders: ProcurementPeople TeamBudget holders (cross functional leads)

Success Criteria

Month End Reporting

Year-end audit and accounts assistance

Budget code management and reconciliations

Business Partnering management

Job variance analysis process ownership

Building dashboards for live data access

Ad hoc strategic analysis

Skills and Experience Required:

ACA qualified or equivalent

Strong Analytical Mindset

Beginner SQL or a desire to learn

Advanced Google Sheets / Excel Data Analysis skills

Ability to present complex financial matters, tailored to the audience

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Experience within an Audit function or Month End Close
