FINANCE MANAGER, FUTURE FINANCE DIRECTORSOUTH BIRMINGHAMUP TO £60K + BENEFITSThis is a Finance Manager role, with a growing, ambitious company situated on the south side of Birmingham. They are looking for an equally ambitious, qualified accountant with the potential to develop with the organisation. A future Head of or Director with genuine equity opportunity for someone willing to earn the opportunity.ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWorking closely with the Managing Director to provide analytical and financial management support in running the business while leading a small finance and administration team. * Provide the financial insight to the leadership team and senior management to make business critical decisions. * Contribute to the commercial decision making of the business including customer proposals, pricing, contractual terms and payment arrangements * Participate in the establishment and delivery of strategic initiatives to enable the business to meet and exceed growth and profitability goals * Responsible for ensuring that appropriate systems and controls are in place, as well as for helping to develop a culture of continuous improvement * Lead and develop a best-in-class finance function delivering reliable management accounting information including profit & loss reports, balance sheets, cost analysis, budgets and forecasts and preparation of annual accounts and returnsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES * Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) * Experience in a SME business * Strong commercial acumen * Excellent communicator at all levels of the businessWORKING HOURS/CULTURE & BENEFITS * £50-£60K * Discretionary bonus based on personal and business performance * 37.5 hours per week * 5% Pension contribution * Working predominantly on-site 5 days per week with occasional WFHFor more information, and a full job description please apply or contact Simon Lowe at Seymour John Recruitment Limited for more information
