This is a number one position overseeing the Finance function, partnering with key stakeholders in the business and ensuring the day to day runs smoothly and efficiently on one hand, as well as supporting the Senior leadership team and Directors with insights and information to enable them to make key decisions to grow the business. You will work with an upbeat, collaborative and cheerful team of professionals, the role has breadth of responsibilities and will cover all aspect of Finance. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Role:Number one role, overseeing the entire finance function of an SME Monthly and annual production of Accounts pack for Director review Managing x1 Assistant Accountant - who is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Monthly divisional P&L’s Month End Process Full payroll process – including bonus calculations and dividend vouchers VAT Return Full year end process including production of final trial balanceProduction of budget pack Customer Spend Report Sales Calculations Weekly KPI reportingBalance sheet reconciliations Business Partnering with key stakeholders Payroll Year End – including production of P60’s Production of P11d’s and PSA returnManaging company debtor position Insuring prompt payments and taking action on overdue debt Adhoc Company Secretarial Duties:Overseeing mobile phone contractsOverseeing renewal of Company Insurance (health, combined, computer, director and cyber)Companies House Filing – Co and GroupProcess reviewsKeeping up to date with legislative changesWhat’s on offer…£50-60k dependent on experience Number One role in Finance Integral member of the leadership team Helping to shape key decisions for the business Excellent team culture Hybrid working Potential Part-Time Option Desirables for the role:Qualified or Qualified By Experience Accountant Knowledge of Sage Payroll Familiar with Sage 50 Strong on Excel Overseeing finance function in an SME environment Need a highly professional and confidential individual True business partner Ensuring reputation of finance continues to be at the highest standard as part of an SME the ideal person must be flexible, with a can do attitude, willing to help and oversee various adhoc tasks as they arise.
