Join our dynamic team as a Finance Analyst within the O2C division of our Shared Services Department. We’re seeking an experienced Analyst to contribute analytical expertise and meticulous attention to detail to streamline processes and provide valuable insights for optimising workflows.

What you will be doing...

  • Working with key stakeholders to understand the complex, high volume, end to end debtor processes and associated accounting treatment of Salesforce debtors.
  • Verification that all debtor related transactional activity in Salesforce has reached SunSystems as expected and all income and VAT has been accurately accounted for including manual journal review.
  • Provide weekly insight and analysis to the SLT on our Holiday Home Sales, Trader and Owner Debtors.
  • Work with the operational stakeholders who manage the day to day running of the ledgers to ensure all data flows are accurate and provide recommendations where issues occur or for process improvements.
  • Support with moving the debtor reconciliations in to the reconciliation system. Drive the automated reconciliation criteria to ensure minimal manual reconciliation required.
  • Completion of all debtor reconciliations between Salesforce and SunSystems ensuring period end reconciliations are complete within the agreed period end time timetable.
  • Work with the Salesforce team to ensure debtor related developments and milestones are achieved with early warning should the timelines be at risk.
  • Owner billing lead including complex calculations performed for pitch fee, rates and other annual billing processes. Management of the sign off process and oversight of the billing process to ensure all key deadlines are achieved.
  • On occasion you may be asked to perform additional duties or duties unrelated to your role after appropriate training has been given.
  • Encourage a culture of high performance, professionalism and respect, including commitment to a high level of quality control and timeliness of delivery.
  • Take an active part in driving improvements in the overall finance product and the culture of the Finance team.
  • Ensure quality, compliance and health & safety standards across Finance.
  • You have a duty to safeguard your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers and visitors. You also have a duty to co-operate with management to enable it to comply with its health and safety duties.

Some of the skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Part-Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience
  • Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of high volume transactional process management
  • Advanced Excel and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to high quality and excellent customer service
  • Experience in process improvements – timeliness, accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Flexible and the ability to work in pressurised situations and deliver a quality product to agreed
