Simpson Judge are exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing SME. They’re looking to hire a Financial Controller to join the business and take control of the finance function. Reporting into the Managing Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and influence change.

The Financial Controller reporting into the MD will be responsible for:

Financial Controller Key responsibilities:

• Production & presentation of monthly management accounts including balance sheet and profit & loss.
• Variance analysis and commentary on monthly management accounts.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and deliver summary reconciliation reports to the Managing Director.
• Improving and maintaining robust financial controls.
• Cash flow management forecasting & reporting.
• Company budget production.
• Overseeing the completion and submission of accurate and on-time VAT submissions to HMRC.
• Supervising external audits.

Financial Controller requirements:

• The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Have experience in working in an SME environment.
• Experience in using Sage Accountancy software.

For this the Financial Controller will receive a competitive salary of up to £60,000 plus benefits
