Graduate Civil Engineer - Requiered for our client that working out of an office in Ipswich. The Graduate Civil Engineer would be workign for a unique company that is employee owned and work across the a range of industries within Rail, Marine and Structures. The Graduate Engineer will be working wihtn the Rail team on civil and structural projects, carrying out inspections, reporting, asset management support and design of new works.Graduate Civil Engineer Position RemunerationSalary DOEPrivate Healthcare (currently offered through vitality)Access to the discount schemeThe opportunity to buy up to an additional 10 days annual leave per year.Profit related bonus subject to company performance. Graduate Civil Engineer Position OverviewAssisting in the preparation of calculations and carry out checking in accordance with relevant technical standards.Carrying out site inspection, supervision and survey worAssisting and guiding technicians in the production of drawing work.Managing projects, with assistance where required, from conception through to construction stage.Preparing and checking reportsAttending client and site meetingsAssist with staff training and mentoring of trainees Graduate Civil Engineer Position RequirementsA UK obtained Degree in civil or structural engineering (ideally 2:1 or above)/HNC or equivalent provided experience compensates for not having a degree.Working towards/willing to work towards professional qualification*Ability to clearly communicate and interpret instructions, both written and verbal.UK based work experience an advantage, but not essential.
