Graduate Electrical Engineer – Technical Sales Engineer£33,000 - £38,000 basic salaryQuarterly bonus paying £6,700 per annumBenefits packageOffice based in Nottingham with the potential for hybrid workingWe’re looking for an Electrical Engineering Graduate, who will receive full OEM training to become a Technical Sales Engineer.

It must be highlighted that this opportunity is starting as a 12 month maternity cover contract, but it is highly, highly likely to become a permanent role.

You will start as an internally based sales engineer, with a full OEM standard training period provided.

In time you will have the opportunity to work hybrid, most likely 2 days a week at home.

Then progress, either into a more senior technical sales engineer, field sales engineer or export sales, after 12 months or less.

The company is an electrical engineering equipment manufacturer with the culture of a small business.

They are a friendly, experienced and welcoming team who will help you in the day-to-day role and provide assistance with your progression into a UK Field Sales Engineer position.  

The RoleQualify inbound sales leads and technically complex applications and issue quotationsDemonstrate company products in person and digitallyPerform site surveys at customer sites across the UK plus attend trade showsMonitor the UK sales pipeline, prioritise workload and proactively influence and close ordersThe PersonThis role requires:Experience in a highly regulated industry: aerospace, defence, hazardous environments (ATEX rated products), oil and gas, nuclear etc.

A qualification in electrical engineering or related such as electronic engineering, control and instrumentation engineering OR demonstrate knowledge gained in workProven experience in a sales or commercially focused positionLiving commutable to Nottingham, you could live in or near Beeston, Grantham, Long Eaton, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Castle Donington etc.
