Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a private equity backed business in the logistics space.
Due to internal progression, they are now looking to hire a Group Accountant into the team.
Skills/experience required:
- ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- Qualified through an audit scheme (such as Big 4)
- Experience leading on audits under IFRS
- Strong working knowledge of group consolidations
Main responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly consolidated accounts, including commentary on transactions
- Owning the year end audit process, including the preparation of statutory consolidated accounts
- Contribute to analysis around the numbers, including the ability to present directly to senior leadership
- Drive process optimisation including automating processes where able
