Group CFO – SaaS

£200,000 - £250,000 per annum + Bonus + Equity

Finatal are currently working with a rapidly growing Private Equity backed SaaS business who boasts an impressive track record of success in the EMEA and Americas markets. With current annual recurring revenues standing at £30 million, the company is on a trajectory to scale up to £100 million over the next 3-4 years through a strategic and ambitious acquisition plan. The aim is to solidify its position as a leader in the industry, providing innovative solutions to clients globally.

The company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy, managing financial operations, and supporting growth ambitions. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Group CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including financial planning and analysis, treasury management, investor relations, and M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives, including the execution of an acquisitive growth strategy aimed at expanding market presence.
  • Providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and the board of directors.
  • Managing the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
  • Overseeing treasury management, cash flow optimisation, and risk management activities.
  • Leading investor relations efforts, ensuring transparency and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Driving M&A activities, including target identification, due diligence, negotiation, and integration.
  • Evaluating and optimizing the company's capital structure to support growth and maximise shareholder value.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of success as a CFO or senior finance executive within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
  • Experience leading financial strategy development and execution in a Private Equity-backed environment.
  • Strong M&A experience, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results through collaboration and teamwork.
