Group Company Secretary in London

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a company which owns and operates various further and higher education providers, both inside the UK and outside the UK. They are seeking a group company secretary, on a full-time and permanent basis, to act on behalf of several institutions belonging to the company.

You will file legal and regulatory documents with Companies House, arrange and attend board and committee meetings, and draw up and maintain companies’ books and registers. You will also have the opportunity to support the legal services team with ongoing litigation/corporate/commercial matters, working closely with, and reporting to the Group General Counsel.

To apply you will be:

• A Chartered member (Fellow or Associate) or Affiliated member of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland
• Already working as a company secretary in the UK, ideally with a minimum of 5 years’ experience from either a law firm, or in-house legal services team
• Able to commute to the office in central London on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week in the office

The salary for this role is £90,000 per annum.
