Tewkesbury Abbeyis one of England's most beautiful & Majestic Churches! Benefits:Beautiful countryside settingContinued professional developmentExciting growth plansHybrid working modelAs a Head of Finance you will:Manage & Lead the finance function of the Abbey, supporting staff in their developmentTake the lead on monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy within your workBe responsible for management accounts and annual preparations ahead of auditsLead on the implementation of a strategic financial plan that supports the Abbey's development, mission and goalsManage funding sources, including grants and donations, and oversee investment strategies to maximise returnsTo be successful as a Head of Finance, you will:Hold a professional accounting qualification or similar level of expertise gained by experienceHave previous experience in financial management and leadershipBe proficient in the use of Sage50Have an analytical approach, with a strategic mindsetExperience of working within the charitable/not for profit sector would be advantageous, however, not essential.In return, we are offering a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience.
