Dynamic Group has a great opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to oversee our recruitment, fibre and renewables sectors.Also known as HSE - health, safety and environment - or OSH - Occupational health & safety - advisers, officers or consultants are responsible for keeping people safe at their work sites.They develop policies and procedures to make sure people are not harmed by their jobs, investigate and report accidents, and provide guidance to leaders on how to comply with the law.Your role will be to ensure that the organisations comply with relevant health & safety regulations and promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors and visitors.Typical duties include: * Assist in the development and implementation of health & safety policies and procedures * Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans * Identfy hazards and recommend corrective actions * Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and make recommendations for corrective actions * Deliver health & safety training programmes * Monitor and review health and safety performance metrics * Keep up to date with relevant health & safety legislation and industry best practicesKey Skills: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * The ability to keep detailed records * The drive to continue to keep up to date with legislation and good practice throughout your career * The ability to be sensitive towards peoples health situation * The ability to work as part of a team * Excellent communication skills * Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels of an organisaton * Presenting and training skills * Flexible approach to working, willing to travel and attend site visits, full driving licenceQualification requirements: * NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification * Relevant experience in a health & safety role * In depth knowledge of health & safety regulations and legislation
