A day in the life of…

As Hotel Reception Supervisor , you will be a pivotal part of the Front Office Management Team by supervising all aspects of department.

You will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check in/out process for all. Ensure the Front Office Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments. Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation. You will maintain consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction whilst creating a working environment that supports our values.

Based in the Mount Royal Hotel, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock. 

Newly refurbished for 2024, the Mount Royal Hotel will be our flagship property based on Princes Street, Edinburgh. An excellent choice for both tourists and locals to enjoy the splendour of Edinburgh.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards. You must have previous experience working in a customer facing role, ideally in a branded hospitality environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite would be beneficial as well as any experience using Opera. 

This role is being offered on a full time basis, as such please note that we will only be accepting applicants who are age 18 or above and are available to work with no restrictions.
