Role: PermanentBased in Lichfield Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 per annum depending upon relevant industry experience, plus 5% bonusWorking hours: 37.5 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Fri, with a daily unpaid break of 30 minutes34 days paid leave, including bank holidaysPension: auto-enrolment at 4%, matched by the Company up to 5%Life cover at three times basic salaryWestfield Health cash planAnnual C2W Scheme, Christmas Saving Scheme and Purchase Leave Scheme MissionBased in the Sales Office, you will become an integral part of a busy depot dealing with sales enquiries over the telephone, Email enquiries and pricing jobs.You will be advising customers on our vast range of steel products, negotiating prices and building relationships with customers.You will represent the depot and assist with the growth of the business, working as a team to increase sales. You will ensure that the needs of the customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst providing a service that ensures that customers return on a regular basis.Previous experience within an internal sales / telephone sales role is essential is required.Candidates will ideally have construction industry experience i.e. sales with ground workers, civils contractors, frame contractors etcYou must be sales driven, have excellent customer service skills together with a good telephone manner and the ability to work well within a team.Mission - Support the Commercial Team's negotiation of high volume sales by acting as a point of contact for customers and supporting the activities of the External Sales RepresentativesAct as a point of contact for customers to develop and maintain positive relationshipsRespond to quotation requests from potential and existing customersDeal with customer queries by providing answers with technical confidence and product knowledgeRespond to, or escalate, queries regarding sales processing, invoices and credit notes to ensure customer satisfactionFollow up live quotations and negotiate within limitationsProcess sales orders in a timely manner to ensure delivery to customers' requirementsProvide administrative assistance to the Sales team Resolve Purchase Ledger invoice queriesEnsure the continuous process of general administrative dutiesObtain proof of delivery notes from third party suppliersSupport the activities of the External Sales Representatives by providing information or administrative assistance as required Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the market position for the company's products and servicesTo continually develop an in depth knowledge of the group's products and servicesTo evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the main competitors in the industry and recommend strategies to maintain the group's position relative to the competitionIdentifying opportunities for added value projectsTechnical CompetenciesPricing Systems, CRM, Therefore, SAP, Excel , Word, Outlook, Customer Portal Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
