About the Role:


As the Lead Cloud Service Manager, you will oversee the management and enhancement of cloud services within the organization.

This role involves ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based IT services while leading initiatives that support and enhance business processes through technology.

You will act as a senior leader within the IT department, coordinating with multiple teams to deliver effective cloud solutions that align with organizational goals.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:


1.       

Service Management :


  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of cloud services.
  • Ensure cloud services meet or exceed set performance standards and service level agreements (SLAs).

2.       

Strategic Planning :


  • Develop strategies to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of cloud services.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align cloud service management strategies with overall IT and business strategies.

3.       

Team Leadership :


  • Lead and mentor a team of cloud service professionals, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage resource allocation and project prioritization within the cloud services team.

4.       

Stakeholder Engagement :


  • Act as the primary IT service management contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding cloud service delivery issues.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on service performance, potential improvements, and ongoing projects.

5.       

Risk Management and Compliance :


  • Monitor and manage risks associated with cloud services to ensure they comply with security and compliance standards.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical cloud services.

6.       

Innovation and Continuous Improvement :


  • Encourage innovation in cloud service processes through the adoption of emerging technologies and practices.
  • Lead initiatives to improve service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

 


Required Skills and Qualifications:


·        Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (Azure preferred).


·        Familiarity with automation and IT operations tools.


·        Skills in project management and process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.


Certifications:


·        IT service management certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or equivalent cloud service management qualifications.


Experience:


·        At least 12 years in IT service management, with a focus on cloud-based environments.


·        Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale cloud services and leading service management teams.


Competencies:


·        In-depth knowledge of cloud computing and IT service management principles.


·        Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.


·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


·        Proficiency in IT service management software and tools.
