This transition has allowed our valued employees to not only own a stake in the business but also be involved in driving Restek forward in the future.We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Estimator to join our team, so if you would like to be a part of something new and exciting, we would like to hear from you!Estimator Overview...Ensure all tender correspondence is recorded and loggedReview contents of tender documentation and provide feasibility adviceCo-ordinate the tender preparation documents submitted by other departments, ensuring that they adequately address the client's requirementsEnsure estimates for work take adequate account of applicable legislation and recognised industry standards on HSQEPrepare all necessary information on the technical and commercial aspects for submissionIdentify potential opportunity / risk and evaluate optionsPrepare bills of quantities / schedule of rates for tender applications and 1st principal estimatesPrepare and submit tender queries / clarificationsPrepare and submit subcontract enquiries in line with company processesReview subcontract tender submissions for compliance and inclusion into the estimateMonitor contract compliance against statutory requirements.Estimator Requirements...Preparing detailed cost budgets and estimates for projectsPreparing detailed proposals ensuring client guidelines and specifications are adhered toEnsure all proposals and estimate deadlines are metMaintain relationships with existing clients to maximise customer satisfactionMaintain records of all estimation documentation including site assessment and contract termsCost managementReport writingKnowledge of concrete preservation and repairIT literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and EmailVerbal and written communication skillsHealth & safety knowledgeConcrete repairs and geotechnical tender background (desirable)Network Rail / Highways England tender background (desirable)Concrete repair estimating experience (desirable)Estimator Remuneration...Competitive Salary - up to £45,000.00Annual Performance Related Bonus25 Days Annual Leave Plus Bank HolidaysFull-time, Permanent, Flexible HoursAcceptance into our Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) after one year of continuous serviceHow to Apply...If you are interested in this position and would like to learn more we would love to hear from you!  Please attach your CV to the link provided and we will be in contact
