Machine Operative in Sherburn in Elmet

GPS Recruitment are partnered with a well-established, family-owned engineering manufacturing business, currently searching for a Machine Operator with experience within a busy workshop environment for this.

Reporting directly to the Team Leader on shift, your daily duties will be set out along with occasional adhoc requirements.

**FLT Licence Advantageous (C/B and Flexi)**Previous experience or exposure with Import/export is advantageousWorking hours (40):Monday - Thursday 7.

15am- 4.

30pm (30 min unpaid lunch)Friday 7.

15am - 12.

15pmMain Responsibilities: * Undertake and conduct admin tasks and other warehouse functions associated with onsite production.

* Storage, picking and dispatching of products/orders.

* Unload and load vehicles and containers.

* Check and examine products prior to dispatch.

* Locate products in warehouse and ensure products are labelled and identified.

* Inspect correct items and quantities that have been picked using product codes and descriptions on pick lists.

* Operate mechanical handling equipment, tools and machinery as trained and authorised and in accordance with safe working practices and operating procedures.

* Assist with the management of stocktaking as required.

* Flexibility to work overtime or alter normal working hours to suit the needs of the business.
