Our client, a thriving FMCG manufacturing company with multiple UK sites, is actively seeking a versatile Maintenance Engineer for their site near Glenmavis, Airdrie.In this dynamic role, you'll tackle everything from reactive breakdowns to planned maintenance and engaging project work. The 3-shift pattern from Monday to Friday comes with a competitive salary of £45,000, along with a host of fantastic benefits such as 25 days of annual leave, discounts on popular high-street brands, sick pay, and a robust company pension scheme.As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include: * Troubleshooting and repairing production machines. * Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards. * Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan. * Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues. * Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems. * Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency. * Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production. * Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records. * Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.Required Experience: * Diagnosing and fixing faults on plant and equipment * Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.If you'd like to know more about this opportunity, don't miss out!
