Maintenance Engineer (Mech Bias)
Have you had experience with Mechanical Engineering within a FMCG environment?
Are you passionate about Engineering and developing your career?
Do you have experience with conveyor repairs/replacements?
MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG Business on the search for a Maintenance Engineer. This is a perm role based in Newport.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and repair breakdowns on all production lines.
- Carry out PPM on all types of conveyor systems – repair, renew, modify.
- Improve OEE performance by proactively preventing failures – Modification ideas.
- Maintain and improve on-site health & safety.
- Consult with operators on best practice in terms of mechanical equipment.
- Undertake further training to ensure skills are a high level for technical support.
What are we looking for?
- FMCG experience preferred
- Previous experience with conveyor systems preferred
- Educated in an Engineering discipline (Level 3 NVQ +)
- High degree of computer literacy
