As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering young people with special educational needs and learning disabilities to achieve their academic and personal goals.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons in line with the National Curriculum framework.- Utilize innovative teaching strategies to engage students with diverse learning needs.- Adapt teaching methods and resources to support students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement tailored learning plans for each student.- Prepare students for examinations and assessments, providing necessary support and guidance.- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth.Requirements:- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in an SEN/SEMH setting.- Familiarity with the National Curriculum framework.- Demonstrated ability to work with young people with a range of learning needs and destination aims.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.- Practical approach to engaging students and promoting active learning.- Experience working with children/young people with special educational needs and learning disabilities.Desirable:- Training in a specialist SEN area.If you are a motivated and compassionate Mathematics Teacher with a commitment to supporting the educational journey of students with diverse needs, we would love to hear from you.
