The school are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work with them long-term and slot into their friendly department. You will have access to a range of resources throughout your placement and a network of knowledgeable colleagues.As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students aged 11-16, igniting their curiosity and understanding of mathematical concepts. You will contribute to a positive learning environment, nurturing students' confidence and academic growth while adhering to the national curriculum standards. You will be working with a supportive and friendly network of colleauges. Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback for improvement.Foster a stimulating classroom atmosphere conducive to active participation and academic excellence.Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance, adhering to school policies.RequirementsThe successful Maths Teacher will have;Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.What we offerAs a teacher, part of our team, you benefit from:Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
