A Secondary school in Southend are looking to appoint a full-time Maths Teacher, who is seeking a long term/permanent opportunity from September 2024.

However, the school are open to a Summer Term if preferred, start for the right educator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to students in KS3/4, with focus on providing engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to learn.

You will be expected to plan, mark and attend parents evening. 

Responsibilities:-          Develop and deliver effective Maths lessons to students-          Create lesson plans, assessments and assignments that align with the curriculum-          Monitor and track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents-          Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and student well-being-          Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-related activitiesRequirements:-          Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field-          Hold QTS-          Experience teaching Maths to students in KS3/4-          Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum and pedagogy-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-          Ability to work effectively as part of a teamIf you are a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of students, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
