Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for a number of local authority sites throughout Derbyshrie with a specific focus on Chesterfield.We are currently recruiting for 2 LGV mechanics (with MOT card advantageous) and a HGV technician.We are looking for mechanics with experience in a variety of vehicles but specific dealership experience is definitely considered.Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on local authority vehicles and equipment * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues * Conduct inspections and identify potential problems * Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems * Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed * Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all timesTo be considered for this role, you must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics or a similar level qualification.37 hour week, No weekends.£15.25 per hour, £30k per annum.08:00 - 17:00, early finish on Friday.As this is working for a local government authority, there is a market leading pension and employment package available.Fantastic opportunity to an join an operation that isn't 'driven by profit' and has a Right First Time attitude to the work!You are given the freedom to complete the work at your pace!
