MFL Teacher - Ashton-Under-Lyne - Maternity We are specifically working with a 'Good' secondary school in Ashton-under-Lyne, who are looking for a MFL Teacher, who are working exclusively with ourselves, to join them teaching MFL key stage 3 & 4 May 2024, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis. You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings and be available for parents' evenings as and when required. As well as deliver lessons that are both engaging and academically appropriate to stretch the students in the classes. The head of department are engaged with local primary school to make sure knowledge is built on once they come to the secondary school.This is a school that is ambitious with high standards that most of the students rise to, even when they are continuously increased. The students are incredibly hard working and have high attendance, showing how welcoming the environment of the school is. The students also have chances to get involved in extra curriculum activities: astronomy and retro games.The role will be open to newly qualified teachers (ECT) as well as teachers who have more experience, we pay from M1 to M6 (sometimes we can also pay through threshold if you have done so, depending on the role).Location - Ashton-under-LynePosition - MFL TeacherType of work - full timeStart date - May 2024Duration - July 2024 (could become perm)Contract type - TemporaryFull timeMinimum rate of pay - £153.85 per dayHours - 8:30 am - 4pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSDegree educated with a good classification (2:2).PGCE and QTSPrevious experience working of working with young people (which we can reference).Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided).Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided).Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided).TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application.Provide two professional children related referencesIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
